StepOne limits its services to organizations involved in improving quality of life for others. These may be public or private institutions, for profit or non-profit. Quality of life encompasses any area that impacts the individual. The majority of our experience is in helping medical, educational, and social-service organizations.
Peter Doliber Biography
Peter Doliber holds two masters degree, one in Public
Health and the other in Health Services Administration.
Combined with his undergraduate degrees in Health Services, Theology, and Management, Doliber is
uniquely qualified to understand the business and
mission of healthcare. As of May, 2008, Doliber is
also a Certified Trainer with Bright From The Start
with the State of Georgia to provide training in Administrative Management to childcare directors,
owners, and administrators.
Equally strategic and compassionate, Doliber has guided community agencies through the complicated process of developing programs that are sustainable, have measurable outcomes, and meet the needs of those being served. Taking a strong business approach, Doliber assesses current policies and practices as well as internal and external environments, all of which contribute to the impact of the success on any program. He has been able to develop unique community-based programs that improve the quality of life for individuals.
Additionally, Doliber has developed metrics to measure the return on investment for community programs.
Recent Success Stories
Chatham Savannah Authority for the Homeless
A government agency in Savannah, GA, this organization coordinates services for homeless individuals in the county. In July of 2006 it had been without an executive director for several months. While its search continued, StepOne was able to balance its budget, identify new sources of revenue, resolve several outstanding personnel issues, and institute checks and balances in its operating system.
Savannah Area Behavioral Health Collaborative (SABHC)
A non-profit agency serving low-income individuals suffering with mental illness, StepOne helped SABHC redesign its service delivery model to be prepared for new state regulations including fee-for-service, increased child and adolescent, and group homes. Additionally StepOne reworked its by-laws and improved standards of care.
Memorial Health University Medical Center
Over several years, StepOne worked with Memorial Health on its uncompensated care issues developing metrics to quantify its investment in community programs. By helping Memorial Health institute a continuum of care built on existing infrastructure, Memorial Health is now receiving state and national recognition as a leader in community investment.
Days Ferry Productions
Days Ferry Productions is the production company for best selling author, actress, philanthropist, activist, and humanitarian, Victoria Rowell. StepOne recently worked with Days Ferry to develop a business infrastructure for Victoria and her ongoing book tour The Women Who Raised Me, which address the needs within our national foster care system and mentoring opportunities. During the engagement, StepOne helped with speeches with Senator Hillary Clinton, interfaced with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the 75th Annual Conference of Mayors, the Eight Annual Meeting of Black Philanthropists, the 98th Annual NAACP Convention, the Congressional Black Caucus, and a large number of organizations around the country working with foster families and children.
